ECCA Premium® aims to

• establish and grant quality and sustainability labels for prepainted metal products based on well-defined European standards
• ensure an appropriate use of the quality and sustainability trademark ECCA Premium®, an internationally registered trademark
• ensure that the criteria and procedures for granting the label are fair and harmonised in each country
• promote the use of European standards for prepainted metals: EN 1396 and EN 10169
• make “quality and sustainability” top criteria for product selection by decision makers along the construction chain
• fight against low quality materials: promote sustainability and quality upgrade of products and ensure a level playing field and fair competition
• avoid deterioration of coil coating image by promoting sustainable and high quality products and processes
